Welcome to the More Wood Society Camp Out Web Site - This camping group was formed in October 1992. We are a group of guys getting together twice a year to camp, eat, make a huge fire, MORE WOOD, drive rangers crazy, and verbally abuse one another!
This fire was started 15 seconds before the picture was taken!!! And Mr. Ranger, Sir, I swear, ( fingers crossed behind my back)no accelerant was used here, just good old fashioned fire starting skills, brought up through the ages from our ancestor the cave man who first discovered the wonder of Fire!
This is what all of you girl friends,and wives sound like to a more wood camp out manwhile you telling us to take out the garbage, feed the dog, go help my mother, you don't listen to me etc, etc, etc - We don't hear you we only here ......the sweet sound of your voice, oh yeah right
MORE WOOD SOCIETY mourns the loss of one of its brothers. The More Wood Society has lost an honored member. Jason L. passed away on August 20, 2006. More Wood Members will miss Jason's quick wit and humor at the camp fire. He is gone from our sight but not our minds. God Bless Jason and his family.
